HURRICANE MILTON
Hurricane Milton is likely to come ashore on the western coast of Florida this Wednesday or Thursday and possibly, and depending on it’s projected path, also hit the Ormond area. Please prepare now. There will not be management/maintenance coverage inside the Shoreham during the storm:
- All stairwell doors should be closed and stairs and landings free from any and all items.
- All hallways on every floor should be free of any articles i.e. chairs, beach belongings, benches, flower pots, etc.. NOTHING should be left in the hallways.
- Move all balcony furniture inside the unit.
- Ensure ALL windows (including laundry) are closed and locked as well as all exterior doors.
- Assure all bulbs are working in the stairwells and at the emergency exits. We have a generator that will power emergency lights.
- Anyone staying in the building PLEASE DO NOT open any windows or sliders during the hurricane.
- Shoreham is equipped with emergency power for lighting of stairwells and hallways only, not the elevators.
- Please always carry a flashlight.
- After the storm, please report any damage, including leaks and water intrusion, asap.
- The Shoreham Office number is 386-238-9549 or use the maintenance request form to report any damage.
